WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located remotely (near a major airport), you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring Gates Production System's progress in all global manufacturing sites to ensure that data is valid. This person will also provide training for site personnel on Gates Production Systems and assist where needed to drive improvements in existing sites or new sites.

  • You'll be working to audit and analyze the Gates Production System data being used by the sites and reported to Operations Leadership.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be traveling globally!
  • You will be supporting Gates Production System workshops in existing sites and/or new acquisitions


Key
responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Implementing Lean and Six Sigma practices to increase productivity and to drive cost outs through out the organization
  • Lead projects with cross functional teams
  • Assessing plant layout to maximize production; AutoCAD experience
  • Training site personnel on the Gates Production System process - specifically how to use the data to understand how to drive results.

ABOUT YOU

  • BS Engineering preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; preferred
  • High level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence and coach across multiple levels within the company and locations; including establishing global partnerships.
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to travel at least 70% of the time to manufacturing sites globally
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Full-Time
